Selection Process
Masters Series participants are selected by an independent panel. The panel consists of campus leaders from various schools and departments across the Georgia Tech campus. The formal selection process is conducted as follows:
- A nomination packet which includes the completed applications of all qualified candidates is put together for each of the selection committee members
- Committee members are given one week to review and rate each candidate independently in three specific areas:
- Essay on Leadership, Accountability, Teamwork
- Performance (review of appraisals)
- Resume strength
- Scores of all participants are calculated, weighted and ranked
- A formal interview may be required prior to final selection
- 12 candidates are selected and notified of their acceptance
