Randy McDow is the Associate Director of Enrollment Services. He directs the President's Scholarship Program and the Bradley-Turner Leadership Scholarship, and he serves at GT's faculty liaison for the Astronaut Scholarship. For the President's Scholarship, he oversees the selection and recruitment of the top freshman applicants, administers President's Scholarship awards from over 50 endowments, and advises the Presidents's Scholars on their academic and leadership development. He works with over 75 alumni committees around the nation to interview candidates, the Development Office to raise funds and steward donations, and faculty and staff to provide the best experience possible for the President's Scholars. Previously, he served as the program coordinator of the President's Scholarship Program for eight years.
Randy earned a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering with a certificate in American Literature in 1995, and he earned a master's degree in Public Policy in 2003, both from Georgia Tech. His master's degree included coursework from Georgia State University's non-profit leadership certificate program.
Outside of work, Randy enjoys hiking, biking, paddling, playing basketball, and in-line skating.
