As the Marketing Director for the GVU Center at Georgia Tech, Renata is managing center’s branding, marketing and PR activities. She is convinced that GVU does brilliant research and she thinks the world should know about it.
 
Renata joined Georgia Tech community and the GVU research center 3 years ago. In her first year, she initiated strategic planning meetings and GVU stakeholders’ surveys to gain insight into the center’s current position and goals. These efforts lead to the successful rebranding of the center along with an update to its visual identity to clearly communicate GVU’s characteristics of interdisciplinarity and creative innovation as well as its strong position within Georgia Tech. In the time since she has continued to build the center’s brand and recognition by promoting its research portfolio through PR activities, creating online communities, and organizing conferences and research showcases.
